Freelance Lingerie And Loungewear Specialist.

Vera specialises in lingerie and loungewear, as a designer, sample maker, seamstress, pattern cutter and grader. She is experienced in all aspects of  intimate apparel.

Based in Cheltenham, Vera works  from her own studios, but  is free to travel to London, or elsewhere in the UK when required.

Vera enjoys  working  with custom made or bespoke lingerie. She can take your initial design ideas from the beginning idea, right through to production. Her services include –

Digital Pattern Cutting.

Vera is experienced in all aspects of computer pattern cutting and grading. She uses a Grazia CAD system.

 

Sampling.

Vera has a great understanding of lingerie construction techniques and materials, so can produce high quality  samples for lingerie and loungewear.  She can also produce some very small runs. If you want larger runs, she can certainly help you with that too.

 

Bra Fitting Service.

Vera has extensive experience in made to measure bras and bra fitting. She can establish your correct bra  size, and diagnose specific fit issues.

As an expert  bra fitter, Vera can produce a high quality custom made bespoke bra. This is a  very specialised area of lingerie that requires a great amount of experience and knowledge in order to perfect.

 

Adobe Photoshop And Adobe Illustrator.

As an advanced PC user, Vera is very proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

She would create your patterns in Adobe Illustrator, creating .ai and .pdf files. If you dont have access to Adobe Illustrator, then everything can be saved in pdf and you can open the files with Acrobat Reader, or another pdf reading programme, just using your computer.

Further Education.

Vera studied at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. There she gained  a bachelors degree in information systems and technologies. So she  is very comfortable with modern technology.

She went on to study designing, drafting and sewing womens underwear, followed by design and modelling in Grazia CAD, and an advanced course in applied anthropometry.
