Looking For freelance Digital Pattern Cutters.

33.  We are a compact group of fashion industry freelancers  providing services to  UK designers, startups and small businesses. We have a lot of demand from clients looking to employ freelance digital pattern cutters, digitisers, and graders in London. Freelance computer Pattern cutters and digitisers are needed for multiple products in mens, ladies and childrenswear.

Childrenswear.

We get regular enquiries for childrenswear grading and pattern cutting. Some clients also require size charts, or digitising.  Grading  knowledge for childrenswear would be useful, as would the ability to create tech packs for childrenswear.

Working From Home. 

If you are working from your own home you will usually negotiate your own rate for each job. Your rate would depend on your skills and experience. It is important that your rate reflects your ability and experience.

Working In-House.

Some  of our clients have vacancies for part time or temporary freelancers to work in-house in the clients studio. This would  usually be based on an hourly rate,  negotiated between the freelancer and the client.

Teaching.

It would be useful if you are able to teach computer pattern cutting and grading to beginners, and experienced manual pattern cutters. There is a lot of demand for learning how to create patterns digitally. Most of our students would be completely new to computer pattern cutting.

Hourly Rate.

The hourly rate depends on your own experience and skills. Most jobs are better priced by the job rather than by the hour, so that both parties are clear how much it will cost. It is important to be clear and transparent regarding prices. If you have to travel to work you would need  to take that in to consideration.
