Emile Vidal Carr  is an established ladies wear designer and custom dress maker, based in Greenwich, South East London. He has over twenty years of experience working in the UK clothing industry as a fashion designer and bespoke dress maker. Made to measure dressmaking by a professional.

He works  from his design studio in Greenwich, where he produces his designs, with a team of high end seamstresses. He designs and makes all types of made to measure clothing, including evening gowns, prom dresses, ball gowns, separates, and bespoke tailoring for ladies.

Over the years, award winning fashion designer, Emile, has worked for some of the very top UK fashion designers.

How Emile Works.

Emile will discuss your exact requirements, using your own ideas, photos, sketches, look books, reference garments, and any other forms of inspirations.  If necessary he will provide a series of design sketches for you to choose from. The fabrics will be selected and  your measurements  taken.

The next stage is to  create a pattern from which your garment will be cut. Sometimes it is necessary to make a toile ( mock-up) to test the size and shape. This would be used as a first fitting.
