Online Sewing Class.

Learn to sew online from the comfort of your own home. Our online  sewing classes  are run by professional  sewing machinists, seamstresses, sample makers and dressmakers. They provide the best online sewing classes  for beginners and intermediate sewers  in the UK.

These are one-to-one, live, interactive classes. As our sewing instructors  can give you their  full attention, and answer any  questions that you may have re seeing and dress making on the spot.

Class times and duration are very flexible. Suitable times  can be arranged with each student.

Our sewing instructors have  many years experience as seamstresses, sample machinists and pattern makers in the UK clothing industry, and have great understanding of garment construction.

The sewing classes are  designed for the home sewer and dressmaker –  Using a domestic, industrial, or semi-industrial  sewing machine, with or without an overlocker / serger.

There are many advantages with distance learning, as well as some disadvantages. For most people the greatest advantage is that you can learn how to sew from the comfort of your own home. There is no travel time, and no associated travel costs.

One-To-One Classes.

One-To-One interactive learning is by far the most effective way of learning from home. And learning online in your own home makes it extremely cost effective too.

Our online sewing classes provide  very flexible learning for home sewers.  Each lesson is tailored exactly to your own requirements. If you are new to sewing, Renata will show you step by step how to set up and use your sewing machine.

If you already have some sewing experience, then she can skip the bits that you already know, and get straight to the bits that you want to know. She can also answer any questions you may have regarding sewing methods and techniques.

Sewing Tools You Will Need.

The only tools you need would be your own  domestic sewing machine, some fabric, scissors, and pins.

Learn To Use Your Sewing Machine.

Learn how to use your domestic sewing machine with all its attachments and fuctions. For beginners you will be shown how to use your domestic sewing machine. You will be taught how to thread up your machine and how to wind a bobbin. Once threading up and bobbin winding  become second nature the student needs to learn how to sew in a simple straight line.

Improve Your  Sewing Skills.

If you already have some experience of sewing, then Renata will help you to learn new skills and to improve those you have. There are many tips and tricks that professional seamstresses learn over the years, that make sewing much more fun, and way quicker.

Professional seamstresses rarely use  pins. They learn how to manipulate fabric without the need for pinning. This is a skill that takes a while to learn, but once you can do that, you know that you are on your way to becoming an expert sewer.

Pattern Cutting.
