We run a variety of courses for anyone, from absolute beginner to experienced fashion professional. These could be described as short taster courses for those not able to attend a full time course.

These affordable courses allow our students to gain the valuable skills necessary to progress in the fashion industry. Or to start their own fashion business. Our classroom based teaching can be augmented by home study to maximise the benefits and make it more cost-effective.

We offer flexible learning for anyone interested in taking one of our fashion courses. As our courses offer one-to-one tuition, we can work around your preferred schedule.

We absolutely welcome fashion industry beginners. Many of our students have come to us with no previous knowledge of fashion, and have gone on to start their own fashion design business.

Bespoke Fashion Workshops
Here at The London Pattern Cutter we provide a series of affordable one to one workshops for anyone interested in how to start a fashion business. These workshops are targeted at anyone from the complete beginner, to the more advanced student. Tuition is by highly experienced fashion professionals and qualified tutors.
The workshops are suitable for anyone interested in learning practical fashion industry skills. They are located at our fully equipped sampling studios in Greenwich. The workshops are fully customised, based on information that the client provides to us.
Our workshops are designed to help kick start your business with a concise introduction to starting a clothing business. We also offer more specialised workshops for swimwear, sportswear and lingerie. While these follow the same basic formula as the How to start a fashion business workshop, they offer additional specialist information necessary to start these types of business.
