Bra Making Course

Bra Making Course.

We offer  a one-to-one  bra design and making course, in our studios in Greenwich, S E London.  You  will be taught how to make your own custom made to measure  bra, from your own design, or one of our  generic designs.

Your course tutor  will  teach you how to cut your own made to measure bra pattern, and to  adjust your  pattern from fitting.  Or you can choose to make your own custom bra  from an existing garment – With any fitting or design adjustments you require.

You will then be taught how to sew your  bra in our sewing studio, or at home on your own domestic sewing machine.

As classes are one-to-one or paired tuition, the classes can be customised to suit your needs. There is plenty of flexibility to cover any aspect of bra making you would like to cover. You can also ask questions about bra pattern cutting or sewing.

Bra Making And Fitting.

Bra making  is a little fiddly, but not too difficult to learn if you have some knowledge of sewing.

Copy Your Favourite Bra.

If you want to copy an existing favourite bra pattern shape, Vera can teach you how to copy and make the bra yourself. with any tweaks and changes you would like to make to either the design or the shape.

If you prefer, you can send your favourite bra to Vera to copy. There will be no need to take apart your existing bra, which would be returned to you intact.

Sourcing Fabrics And Trims.

How do you source and choose  fabrics and trims for your new bra ? Today there are many different fabrics to choose from for your home sewn bra. Vera can advise on the best place for you to source your chosen fabrics and trims, whether natural or synthetic.
