Our  beginner domestic sewing classes are run from our riverside studio in Greenwhich. These sewing classes  provide a thorough  introduction  to home sewing,  using our own  modern domestic  Jenome sewing machines. They require absolutely no experience and are a great way to learn a new hobby.  We supply everything you will need, including scissors, fabrics and tea or coffee. So all you need to do is turn up.

You can be guaranteed plenty of individual attention from your tutor Niki. She has over twenty years experience teaching sewing over a range of levels. The classes are small, friendly and informal.  Niki will take you through the process of  threading and setting up your sewing machine. She will instruct you on the basic techniques required in using your sewing machine. During the day you will be able to use your new found skills by making your own tote bag using our fabric, or your own.

If you prefer to bring along your own sewing machine, we would be happy to help you with its use. We are also happy for you to provide your own fabric if you would rather use your own fabric rather than our provided fabrics.
